Equipping The Saints - 2012 Pre-Conference

The Association of Biblical Counselors invites you to join them at the Equipping the Saints Pre-Conference in Flower Mound, Texas. On April 26th, 2012, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, pastors, ministry leaders, and biblical counselors will be guided through materials designed both to equip counselors for the work of ministry as well as to equip the church to implement such ministry.

Make Disciple-Makers

Jesus commissioned us to “make disciples” (Matthew 28:18-20). If you are interested in learning how to more effectively walk in your role as “disciple-maker” you will want to attend this year’s ABC pre-conference. Attendees will be given an overview of the following:

  1. What are the foundations of biblical counseling?
  2. What is a biblical view of people, problems, and solutions?
  3. How does biblical counseling address specific troubles in life (i.e., addictions, anxiety, anger, depression, and homosexuality)?
  4. How does biblical counseling apply to marriages and family?
  5. How can church leaders envision the ministry of biblical counseling in their own church?
  6. How do church leaders enlist members to take part in biblical counseling?
  7. How can Christians become equipped to counsel in the local church?
  8. How can leaders employ godly ministries for ministry in biblical counseling?
