This is by far the best book that i have read on marriage and has helped us grow deeper together. Because (along with a number of other reasons) it pointed out a major sin in my life that I was wanting my wife to help serve in my kingdom rather than serving God’s kingdom together.

“The problem with the typical pre-marriage counseling is that it tends
to address the locations of marital struggle (sex, finances, roles,
etc…) and not the cause of those struggles (the selfishness of sin
that still resides in our hearts).”

This is exactly why Tripp’s book has been so much more helpful than other marriage books for my wife and me.
