Julie began biblical counseling and discipleship when she directed the women's ministry in her church over twenty years ago. This began years of extensive training that led to certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC). It is her joy to lead an exceptional team of counselors at Reigning Grace Counseling Center, as well as teach and supervise counselors in training. She is the author of numerous books and materials on biblical counseling issues and is a frequent conference and retreat speaker. She also founded Biblical Counseling for Women Biblical Counseling for Women and writes a daily blog on counseling issues. She is a Council Board Member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition and a leader for the BCC Women's Conference Call. She and her husband, Larry, make their home in Kansas City, MO, and have three adult children and one granddaughter.
