*take our singleness for granted

Pastor, thank you so much for this; this was very eye opening. Indeed, a big point that struck me was that we do take our singleness, and by desiring for a wife, etc, to be happy, we’re pretty much saying God isn’t enough- which isn’t true at all. May God guide us to learn to love Him first above all :)

God bless y’all during your wedding! May you both edify each other in your pursuit for God :)

Steve -  I too will speak frankly.  I have fought the good fight fof fifty-one years.  And yes, purity is worth it.  I don’t live my life in a “holding” state nor due I view my singleness as a “season.”  I view it as a spiritual gift.  Unfortunately, there are many churches today that have discarded singles ministries altogether.  There are even churches that have written policies against hiring a pastor without a wife and children.  What are your thoughts about that?
